Just thought I’d share this - I always found the way videos on youtube autoplay very annoying and have been trying a few different firefox extensions to change this behaviour and I think I’ve finally found one I like, it’s called Tubestop. What it does is that if the uploader has allowed embedding it exchanges the default youtube player for the embedded one, if the uploader hasn’t allowed embedding then it shows a white box with a link to start playing the video. Unlike some other ones I’ve tried it doesn’t seem to affect flash on any other sites which is brilliant (I sometimes had problems with certain sites because of having content stopped that I didn’t actually want stopped).
