I came across the video below today… It’s a kind of dinner thing that he did in New Jersey in 2005 and I guess I somehow found it particularly amusing cause it feels a bit like he’s doing American style stand-up comedy.

Reactions to Chandni Chowk to China: Nepal doesn’t like it…

You may remember I spotted a very strange creation that involved India, China and the USA together. Chandni Chowk to China has done reasonably well from what I’ve gathered, but the response is a bit mixed.
It’s pretty much the first Bollywood film ever to be marketed at non-Indians in the USA and it received a [...]

Since I’ve been following Steve Jobs’ health lately, I thought it appropriate to mention the story has once again been changed :] His health is apparently bad enough for him to take medical leave after all.
So the speculation will once again be rife I guess…

The ban on smoking in films, which India introduced in 2005, has now been lifted.

Shahrukh making a statement on Gaza

I’m completely not used to seeing Shahrukh taking any kind of political stands - he’s the guy, who always wiggles out of making any definitive comments on anything political. So it’s a surprise to discover he’s been making a very strong one recently… Or maybe it just seems strong to me because he doesn’t usually [...]

Harry Potter Movie-Watching

{FILM DIARY}
So throughout last week (which was very heavy on the tests and projects and stuff) I found that watching Harry Potter films was a very pleasurable form of escapism :] And so in the evenings if I had time (and sometimes also when I didn’t have it) I would put a Harry Potter film [...]

Daniel Radcliffe on Inside The Actor’s Studio

Just came across that interview and I particularly liked this bit, but if you like Daniel Radcliffe interviews then the whole show is worth a look :)

How To Be - another Robert Pattinson movie spotted :)

As expected, my Robert Pattinson obsession was short-lived (though exams and projects and stuff are still in full throb *sigh*). I think he’s been side-tracked partly by the European Figure Skating Championships (not that I had time to properly watch them or anything, but I have seen a bit :) I’m really happy for Przemek [...]
