My Mum’s Affair with Bollywood
She’s now left for Kraków for a few days so for the first time in a long while I do not have any Bollywood songs thundering from behind my door ;)
But basically about 2 weeks ago she was so bored with what was on TV that she asked for some DVDs and quite willingly took some Bollywood ones (until now both of us had assumed our tastes would be incompatible when it comes to Bollywood, though the seed of doubt was planted when we discovered my mum enjoyed J-drama ;)). Two weeks later I have a Shahrukh fan in the house and she’s even happy watching 90s Bollywood which I always thought was rather hardcore (she’s been repeatedly watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge!).
@ Andreja - my mum absolutely loved Chak De! India (her favourite of all the ones she saw so far) and thought Shahrukh looks very attractive in a beard *grin* Upon hearing that you couldn’t get through it she was deeply shocked ;)
