…they’re in demand at the Golden Globe Awards *grin*
A.R. Rahman became the first Indian ever to win a Golden Globe yesterday :) Rahman is responsible for some of Bollywood’s most famous music and is a bit of a legend. He won the award for his work on Slumdog Millionaire (a film I “spotted” quite a while ago :) which is shaping up to be the favourite at the Academy Awards!).
And that wasn’t the only Bollywood accent at the Globes. They actually invited Shahrukh Khan as one of the presenters!
Bollywood aside, I think the results are worth looking through :) There’s a few I totally wouldn’t have expected.
