Why I love Take That
Are there any other boybands (or pop groups of any sort for that matter) that would start a concert with a string quartet playing Richard Strauss? ;)
But what I really wanted to post was the song that comes right after the classical music bit - I just had a total giggling fit over it:
For the first seconds I was like WTF? Why all the overconfident and arrogant postures? And then when I got what they were doing I cracked up. If you ever wondered what a politician would look like if they sang their speeches instead of saying them then check the clip out ;) Their gestures are perfect. I’m actually wondering whether they did some work with one of those people that coach politicians on body language.
Love the idea - very simple (just the four of them on stage and they’re not even doing any demanding choreography) and yet so effective. Makes total sense too - it is called The Beautiful World Tour after all ;)
