Vampires and werewolves (New Moon spotted)

The Harry Potter clip they showed at the MTV Awards was crap (if you’ve been watching the trailers then you’ve basically already seen it - it’s the Voldemort as a little boy one), but they also showed the first New Moon trailer (which is also crap ;) ).

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. The sceptical part of me thinks that…
The trailer looks awful ;) And I don’t know what to think about the change of director. I liked that the first Twilight film was so feminine.

The excited part of me thinks that…
Crappy trailers and posters are somewhat of a tradition in the Twilight franchise ;) It’s not difficult to believe that they’ve kept the policy of taking all the crappy special effect scenes and put them into the trailer, even though the rest of the film will be very quiet ;) From what I’ve heard, the second book is where Bella and Edward split up and walk around very depressed, wondering if there’s any point in continuing to live. The trailer doesn’t put that across very well ;)
As for Chris Weitz - I actually liked the Golden Compass, so I guess I should give him a chance.
And if all else fails - I really like the cast (and casting), so this should be a somewhat enjoyable film whatever happens *grin*
