Akshay Kumar arrested for obscenity
This is a case I’ve been following for a while and it just gets weirder and weirder.
Akshay Kumar, who is one of Bollywood’s biggest stars at the Indian box office, was invited to walk the catwalk during the Lakhme India Fashion Week. While on the catwalk he approached his wife, Twinkle Khanna (another Bollywood actress - not that popular, but Shahrukh fans might remember her alongside Shahrukh in Baadshah), who was sitting in the audience and asked her to undo the top button of his jeans. It was clearly meant in jest.
Police complaints were lodged and it has finally resulted in him being arrested (and subsequently bailed out). I think this beats the Richard Gere - Shilpa Shetty incident :]
