I thought this would be horrible and I was right ;)
More About the Film
I thought I’d watch this for the stars (I like a lot of them, was particularly keen on seeing James McAvoy), but you know what? Even the cast sucked in this IMO :] They’re all much better actors than the performances they gave in this.
I’m pretty sure Jane Austen was a much more fascinating person that the film gives her credit for and the chemistry between James McAvoy and Anne Hathaway is rather disappointing.
So basically, this film is really as bad as the trailer would indicate ;) I mean I guess it’s relatively watchable (it’s not like one becomes insanely bored or something like that), but not particularly enjoyable IMO :]
Recommended?
Definitely not :]
