{MONTHLY SUMMARIES}

I should probably call these mid-monthly summaries :] Oh well, maybe I’ll get the timing right next month ;)

My Month in Brief

April has been a month of finally trying to get things together. There’s a lot of minor things to do and I’ve been trying to plan and do them. For example I got the dentist done - I hadn’t been at the dentist’s for ages…
At the beginning of the month I was actually doing pretty well, but in the second half of April all my motivation to do anything went and my productivity dropped significantly :] Also the internet connection problem made things a little difficult for a while - planning my time without being able to check things up on-line is a challenge… Perhaps it was also a bit of a culprit in my productivity slump in the second half of the month - there were so many things I wanted to do on-line after the break that it was a bit overwhelming…

Fixations of the Month

The fixation with ToDoIst continues - I discovered more of its features in April and it’s still serving me well. Though I’m trying to cut down on the amount of tasks I assign myself daily. I kept going over the top and in the end that started to overwhelm me rather than motivate me.
Other than that I haven’t had any memorable fixations in April, which is a bit sad - I like having fixations *grin*

Films

Film Count
14 films watched this month, of which 9 films were new to me and 5 were films I’d seen before. A lot of documentaries for my standards (4 out 14).

Books

My “Book Diary” sucks - I’m still behind by four months :]
But anyway, April was a better month for books than March - I’m back to my two books a month rhythm. I got through my re-read of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and then I read A Child Called ‘It’, which is a gripping yet very masochistic read (more about that in a separate post hopefully :]).

Diet

My motivation has dropped (I’m not fixated enough on it :]), though I’m still making some feeble attempts to limit sweet stuff and milk stuff. So during the month of April I gained 1kg and lost 2kg. So by the end of April I was 76kg (BMI = 29).
I really need to sit down and talk to myself about this or this won’t go well… Still haven’t figured out how exactly to get myself eating more vegetables though I’ve thought of a different approach which might work if I get my motivation back.
I can do this, I just need to focus grrrr…
