I just discovered that this has aired in Japan. Very timely too, as me and Kinga had recently been moaning to each other (yet again) about how annoying it is that Jun is doing stuff with his boyband rather than satisfying our J-drama needs. I’m not sure this is actually a series - it says SP (special) somewhere on the page so I think it’s just a TV film rather than a series. Hopefully, I’ll be able to rely on Kinga, my J-drama guru, to find out more about it *grin*
It could be very interesting to see Jun in a part like this. On the other hand it could be a horribly soppy, barely watchable kind of thing too for all I know (no video clips that I could find *sigh*). I’ve not been too impressed with the disability/illness themes in J-drama so far (saw First Kiss and Summer Snow), so that makes me a bit cautious. Clearly anything new with Jun is good news though :)
