SRK and his offensive humour
There are a number of reasons why I enjoy Shahrukh Khan interviews, but I think I’m most entertained when he’s borderline offensive - as in “OMG, I can’t believe he just said that and he’s going to get away with it!” *grin*
To be honest I haven’t come across many interviews of “that sort” recently. Nowadays he seems to be a bit more conscious of how far his words can reach and how he might be misunderstood (I just watched him comment on the “Shahrukh Khan is as popular as the pope, but sexier” line that the German media came up with last year and he totally chickened out in terms of cracking jokes at that :] perhaps a wise decision, but he’s funnier when he’s rude ;)). Another reason is that maybe I’ve watched so many of his interviews that I’ve gotten used to his humour, so it has less of a “OMG” impression on me now ;)
However, I just came across a clip which must be from about a year ago (so still fairly recent) and er… ouch… *grin*
